About
A small firm that builds things properly.
Halcyon Aegis Ltd builds bespoke software, prototype hardware and security solutions — with one team accountable for the whole result, whatever the size of the job.
Our story
Why bespoke
Too many businesses end up paying a subscription to a platform that almost fits, and paying again every time they need it to bend. We started Halcyon Aegis to do the opposite — build the thing that fits, hand it over, and let you own it.
That runs across everything we do: data-driven web platforms, QMS and CMS systems and selection software; prototype hardware with a focus on defence technology such as anti-landmine solutions; and security system setup, bespoke training and written risk analysis.
Small enough that you talk to the person building it. Structured enough that it is documented, tested and yours at the end.
What we believe
Principles we don't compromise on
Built for you
Every project starts from your requirements, not a template we are trying to resell. If an off-the-shelf tool genuinely fits, we will tell you.
You own it
Software is handed over with its source; hardware with its design files. You can take any of it in-house or to another supplier without a rebuild.
Prove it, don't claim it
Performance is measured — hardware is tested, software is checked against real data, security work comes with a written assessment.
One team, one contact
You are not passed between account managers. The people who scope the work are the people who build it.

Careers
We hire engineers and developers who like unusual briefs.
If you build software or hardware and would rather do a few things properly than many things by template, get in touch.
